Introduction
We are a global health organization focused on strengthening health systems across Africa. Our goal is to optimize health outcomes by implementing innovative solutions that address local healthcare challenges, particularly for disadvantaged and underserved populations. As we expand into West and Central Africa, we are seeking a Field Associate to support a program that enhances the leadership and management capacity of Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) teams across multiple countries.
Job Description and Objectives
The Field Associate will play a critical role in supporting the execution of the EPI program. This includes providing technical and operational assistance for daily program activities and contributing to achieving the program’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Implementation:
- Lead diagnostic assessments of immunization systems in specified regions or districts.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for program workflows.
- Assist in problem-solving and escalations of challenges to the Country Lead.
- Analyze information, test hypotheses, and formulate actionable recommendations for program improvement.
- Facilitate collaboration with partners to ensure smooth implementation of program activities.
- Participate in technical problem-solving sessions with stakeholders to address implementation challenges.
Program Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and review program activities regularly to ensure quality and compliance with agreed deliverables.
- Document progress and collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Participate in mid-term and end-term program evaluations to assess the program’s impact and success.
Required Competencies

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Results-oriented and able to manage and track performance using KPIs.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a graduate degree in International Development, Public Health, Health Management, Epidemiology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings.
