The ASPIRE project is a 12-month initiative designed to achieve HIV epidemic control by providing high-quality HIV services in FCT, Nasarawa, and Rivers states. This includes technical assistance and mentorship for healthcare facilities to deliver effective HIV testing, treatment, and care.


Role Overview:
The Clinical Associate will lead the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of technical assistance at health facilities, engaging stakeholders and driving strategic performance on the ASPIRE project.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with health facility leadership and stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation and address challenges.
  • Program Coordination: Monitor facility performance, identify gaps, and provide mentorship to facility staff to improve outcomes.
  • Administrative Leadership: Manage state office operations, onboard new staff, and oversee financial and operational activities.
  • Clinical Support: Oversee quality improvement processes, provide capacity-building support, and coordinate the implementation of intervention strategies.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on project implementation and participate in problem-solving and learning sessions.

Requirements:

  • Education: MBBS degree with 2-3 years of post-NYSC experience.
  • Experience: Prior involvement in project implementation or public health programs, preferably HIV-related.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and excellent stakeholder engagement abilities.
