UNICC provides trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its clients and partner organizations. The Management and Strategy Division directs and allocates resources to achieve organizational goals, with the Governance Risk Compliance and QA office enhancing operational efficiency and reducing risk.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and propose corrective measures to enhance the quality control environment across all UNICC functions.
  • Identify and improve processes, coordinating with teams to implement improvements using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with organizational functions to integrate controls into business processes and assess effectiveness.
  • Plan and perform periodic risk assessments and monitor the implementation of mitigating controls.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs to promote risk awareness.
  • Provide guidance on risk management practices and support assurance programs through control assessments and audits.
  • Contribute to yearly Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and QA programs.

Recruitment Profile

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Essential:

    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in risk management, internal control, or a related field.
    • Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures.
    • Proficiency with risk management software and tools.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaborative working ability.
  • Desirable:

    • Knowledge of ITIL and audit methodologies.
    • Experience in IT service management and quality improvement.
    • Familiarity with audit techniques and quality assurance.

Education:

  • Essential:

    • University degree in information technology, computer science, risk management, business administration, or related field.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CRMP, CIA, Six Sigma).
  • Desirable:

    • Knowledge of risk management and business process control frameworks.
    • Certification in ISO standards.

Languages:

  • English: Expert level required.
  • Working knowledge of French is an asset.

Other Information

  • Compensation: Fee based on National Officer salary scales or Individual Consultancy band levels.
